I'm in Germany!

So I've come to Bavaria, Germany.  It's lovely here but I'm awfully busy caretaking a sick family member.  I came over because no one else in my family could get away for a long amount of time.  My line of work allows me to take time off without much of a problem, so here I am.  He is American (as am I) and came to Germany because of a specialty doctor.  We don't know any German (although I'm learning) and it's very cool being in another country.  I'll be here for two months and I return in the middle of November.

Taking care of my family member is very time consuming, and it kills me to say this, but all my projects, stories, and tutorials on DA are being put on the back burner.  I simply don't have time for them.    Sorry guys, but I won't be keeping up with anything on DA.  I'll log in every now and again, just to see what's up, but I doubt I'll have time to really be involved in the community like I have been.  Things will resume in late November when I come back to the states.

I'm learning the language (I have a knack for language- I'm a writer after all) and I'm learning how to get around.  I drove on the autobahn!  I drank German beer!  I ate a sausage!  I visited a castle!  My life is good!  

Anyway, I haven't abandoned anyone or anything.  I have to put everything on hold for a little while.  I'll be back in a few months.
